Its featured recipes have been handed over from generation to generation consist of a distinctive blend of spices made from the freshest ingredients. Some of its signature dishes include Tahu Telor (deep-fried beancurd), Kepala Ikan Istimewa (fish head curry), Rendang Lembu (braised beef), Ikan Pepes (grilled fish), Ayam Goreng Istemewa (fried chicken), Es Cendol Kacang (a dessert drink) and Es Teler (fruit cocktail).
Popular with the locals as an unpretentious, heartwarming joint with sizable food portions. Tambuah Mas is an Indonesian term for 'requesting for more food', a name they have certainly lived up to for over 30 years and 30 more years to come.
