F1 Night Races

The racing fever is on in Singapore every end-September. With a 5-year contract with Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Formula One World Championship, Singapore has been bringing the Formula 1 Races into its own shores with much delight to sports car and racing fanatics alike. Transforming regular public roads around Marina Bay to a complete circuit track, the Singapore Grand Prix have seen big names such as Fernado Alonso and Lewis Hamilton clean the streets and claim the grand prize.

Since its inception in 2008, the Singapore F1 Grand Prix has also experienced its fair share of top acts like Sean Kingston, Mariah Carey, Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert and Missy Elliot sharing the spotlight with the racing teams.

In addition, a vast array of parties are lined up to ensure that the party does not stop when the races do.

This year, this exciting and rocking event will be held  from 23rd-25th September 2011, and Singapore will be once again welcoming internationally-acclaimed racers such as Lewis Hamilton, Mark Webber as well as 2010 F1 champion, Sebastian Vettel. Participating teams are: Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault, Williams, Force India, Sauber, Toro, Rosso, Lotus, HRT and Virgin, so do come to lend your support to your favourite drivers. Linkin Park fans are also in for a great treat as the band will be performing as the event's headlining group for the 2011 F1 Race!

65 000 admission Tickets were released for sale on 3rd March 2011, with 17% discount for early birds, as well as savings of up to 10% for those who purchase 4 tickets or more.

Singapore Grand Prix F1 2011 will be held at the F1 race tracks (Millenia Tower, 1 Temasek Ave, 039192). Races will start at 6pm and end at 11pm on the 23rd, 7pm-10pm on the 24th and the finals at 8pm on 25th. Tickets are priced ranging from S$208-S$1288. Early Bird tickets (17% discount) are available until 8 th May 2011.

The F1 Pit Building is a SGD $40 million establishment located near Raffles Boulevard.The Building caters to 4000 guests, F1 vehicles, media personnel and race control officers. Fans of the F1 Night Races will pay $7500 in order to enjoy the luxuries of the Paddock Club.
