Nothing spells luxury more than shopping in one of Singapore's newest and largest shopping malls, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. The Shoppes boast some 800,000 square feet of retail and dining, bathed in sunlight streaming from the floor-to-ceiling windows that line the mall. Designed with an open concept in mind, the mall features a mix of international and local labels.

Get acquainted with designer brands such as Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Christian Dior, Fendi, Ferragamo, Franck Muller, Gucci, HugoBoss, Max Mara, Miu Miu, Omega, Patek Philippe, PradaTiffany & Co. and Yves Saint Laurent, and labels new to Singaporean shores: Anne Fontaine, Henry Cotton’s, Stefano Ricci and Wolford.

There's also the Louis Vuitton 'island' boutique housed in the Crystal Pavilion, and that's just the tip of the iceberg!

Check out also Ralph Lauren's 5,500 sq ft duplex store, the brand's largest outlet in Southeast Asia, and Cartier's boutique, designed by Bruno Moinard.

Italian luxury brand Bulgari has brought in a new handbag collection designed by film star Isabella Rossellini. The shop also offers jewellery, watches and leather accessories.

Jewellers De Beers has also opened its first boutique in The Shoppes. It comes equipped with the De Beers Beauty Scan that allows customers to analyse diamonds in extraordinary detail.

Meanwhile, luxury watchmaker and jeweller Chopard debuted its Animal World Collection here to celebrate its 150th anniversary.

A boutique from French luxury house, Chanel, was designed by long-time Chanel collaborator Peter Marino, and showcases the brand's ready-to-wear accessories, perfumes and beauty products on two levels.

Alternatively, If you're tire of extensive retail therapy, take a break on a relaxing sampan ride along The Shoppes' canal. There's also an ice-skating rink next to the food court, perfect for those who want to escape Singapore's tropical weather.
