ZoukOut 2012

Yes, it’s that time of the year again, where the biggest names in the nightlife industry are featured in the form of one massive outdoor dance music festival – ZoukOut!

Since its inception in 2001, the annual dusk-to-dawn ZoukOut beach party has attracted partygoers from all over the world and has been dubbed one of the biggest outdoor dance music festivals in Asia! As part of ZoukOut's “One World, One Music, One Tribe, One Dance” mantra, the most anticipated beach party leaves no one behind, playing every dance genre imaginable from House, Techno, Trance, Disco, Boogie, New Wave, Hip Hop, Electro to Singapore's very own Mambo Jambo.

Considered the granddaddy in Asia’s clubbing scene, organiser Zouk, which has consistently received awards and accolades internationally including being named “Nightspot of the Year” a record-breaking 8 times by Singapore Tourism Board, continues to outshine itself each year by featuring a bigger and better entertainment line-up. World famous DJs and dance music personalities such as David Guetta, Tiesto, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Sasha, Armin Van Buuren, and James Lavelle have been featured over the years, alongside some of Singapore's most recognised DJs and live acts.

In 2010, the event commemorated its 10th anniversary with an elaborated midnight fireworks display, and attracted a record high 30,000 partygoers, 45% of which flew from abroad for the festive occasion!

Zoukout is back for another year in 2012, and for the first time ever, the event spans across two memorable nights of music and nightlife in Siloso Beach at Sentosa. From 7 to 8 December 20129pm – 4am and 8pm – 8am respectively, catch some of the best international acts, from England's Above and Beyond to local DJ Jeremy Boon. Also, for the first time in Singapore, catch American Electronic Dance sensation Porter Robinson, Australia's Knife Party, Maceo Plex and Nina Kraviz at the event!

Other Zoukout performers include Hardwell, Kaskade, Major Lazer, Blink & Goldfish, Sudha, A-Trak, Calvin Harris, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Kalkbrenner and more! For a full line-up, check Zoukout's official website here

More than just dance and music, Zouk will also be 'going green' at Zoukout 2012, and has collaborated with ARTSYFACT to create art installations aimed to create awareness on conservation. The furniture at the used in the venue's resting areas will also be recyclable, to minimise the event's impact on the environment.
