Singapore Food Festival 2012

The Singapore Food Festival (SFF) is an annual month-long event held in July each year with the aim of showcasing Singapore's diverse food offerings inspired by our culture and heritage.

Now in its 19th year, the Singapore Food Festival 2012 is back again, with more exciting events awaiting you! Based on the theme 'Seafood Tales of Temasek', notably inspired by Singapore's ancient name as Temasek (meaning 'fishing village' in Javanese), this year's festival brings you a smorgasbord of seafood delights.

From 13 to 22 July 2012, enjoy mouthwatering sea fare at the new waterfront venue The Promontory @ Marina Bay, where up to 60 stalls featuring iconic local and international seafood dishes will be lined up. Expect signature favourites like Steamed Garoupa, Black Pepper Crab, Chilli Crabs, BBQ Sambal Stingray, Curry Fish Head, and many more seafood delights!

Tourists who visit Singapore will not only get a taste of the local food delights in Singapore but also understand the rich treasures of Singapore culinary history through the host of line up featuring culinary workshops, chef demonstrations, food tasting and master classes that are part of this event.
