Resorts World Sentosa
For one day only, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will be offering a special price of S$47 (usual price: S$73) for admission tickets into Universal Studios and the Maritime Experiential Museum for locals and PRs in celebration of Singapore’s 47th year.
The famous theme park will also be staging a special-edition Hollywood After Party from 7-11pm, which will include a fireworks display and a live screening of the National Day Parade. Tickets to the party are priced at S$20 and can be bought at the ticketing booths at the park.
Guests at the resort will also be treated to a three course dinner prepared by 26-star Michelin chef Joël Robuchon, who will serve dishes inspired by the local scene, including Langoustines in ‘Chilli Crab’ style and Lobster in classic ‘Bisque’ with Laksa flavour. Furthermore, RWS is hosting a party in The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore on the eve of National Day. Featuring appearances by Far East Movement and both local and international DJs. The party takes place on 8 August from 8pm. Tickets to the event are priced at S$78.

Marina Bay Sands
In the spirit of events, shops at the Marina Bay Sands will keep longer opening hours from 10am-11pm. Guests of the integrated resort will also get to enjoy special menu options on 9 August. Taste the offerings of local celebrity chef Justin Quek at restaurant Sky on 57, where jazz musician Jeremy Monteiro will be performing. The restaurant also offers diners a vantage point to watch the fireworks display from as it is located at the highest point of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
Located at the top of the resort’s SkyPark, Ku De Ta is another place that provides a bird’s eye view of events. The restaurant is also unveiling its 14 dishes in the exclusive National Day dinner set menu, featuring some new creations available only on 9 August from 6pm to 8.30pm. The special set menu is priced at $228++ per person, and includes a complimentary glass of champagne.
