Wisma Atria will officially launch their new building façade on September 6. Costing about S$31 million and a year to build, the shopping mall’s new look is an eye-catching crystalline exterior that is both edgy and dynamic.
Besides improving appearances, Wisma Atria also plans to attract more local and foreign shoppers with the opening of new flagship stores from well-known international retailers. Luxury handbag manufacturer Coach recently unveiled their flagship store on Level 2 of the shopping mall. Covering 4,600 square feet, it is the largest Coach retail outlet in South East Asia. In addition, fashion companies like Tommy Bahama and Tory Burch have opened their 1st stores in South East Asia and Singapore respectively, giving consumers in Singapore more variety.
Fans of luxury watch maker Tag Heuer will also be pleased to note that the company has their largest store in the world in Wisma Atria. Other new stores include Dickson Watch & Jewellery, Timewise by Cortina Watch, and local multi-label store Workshop Element.
After a long day of shopping, unwind with a visit to the new Paris Baguette on level 2. The café already has stores in Korea, China and the United States, but this is the first time one has been opened in Singapore.
To encourage and reward shoppers, the mall is staging a photo contest from 28 September to 31 October 2012. Simply submit photos of Wisma Atria on Instagram and tag them with #Wisma Atria Instagram to win a SONY Alpha A77 Camera or SONY Cyber Shot Digital Camera. Contestants must be over 18 to participate and 2 winners will be selected depending on the number of likes and “Wisma Atria’s Favourite”.
