Current admission fees to the Singapore Zoo are at S$20 per adult and S$13 for children under 12 years, and top-up prices to the Panda exhibit are $5.00 per adult or $3.00 per child (3 to 12 years old). Tickets to the preview can be purchased at the ticketing booths in the Singapore Zoo.
The two pandas, Kai Kai (凯凯) and Jia Jia (嘉嘉), will be in Singapore for the next 10 years as part of a joint collaboration to generate awareness and improve conservation efforts between Wildlife Reserves Singapore and China Wildlife Conservation. Besides the giant pandas, the 1,500 square metre Giant Panda Forest exhibit will also house other unique Chinese wildlife like the red panda and the golden pheasant.
The River Safari is set to open in the first quarter on 2013, and is Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park. The new attraction is located between the Night Safari and the Singapore Zoo.
