Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2013

The annual New Year celebration at Marina Bay on 31 Dec 2012 promises a visual spectacle. Thousands of glowing ‘wishing spheres’ will be released into the Singapore River against a backdrop of fireworks and the Singapore city skyline. Besides free musical performances, the event will also feature a special screening of the short film What Are You Grateful For?, which was specially commissioned for the event. The Marina Bay Countdown is held at the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade and Esplanade Waterfront, and admission to the event is free.
Come down to The Float @ Marina Bay at 7.30pm on New Year’s Eve for a special countdown concert with a line-up of stunning performances! Featuring international and local talents like K-Pop group M.I.B (Most Incredible Busters), Taufik Batisah, Kyle Patrick, the cast of Jersey Boys, and more! Presented by Singaporean personalities Gurmit Singh and Joanne Peh, the concert will also be broadcasted live on Channel 5, from 11:00pm on 31st December 2012.

Siloso Beach Party
Asia’s largest beach countdown party is back for another year. Test your endurance at this 12 hour countdown, from 6pm – 6am, featuring a line-up of renowned international and local DJs, who will keep the enthusiastic crowd entertained with their signature tunes in 5 distinct party zones (Main Arena, COASTES, Azzura Beach Club, Wave House Sentosa, Mambo).
Partygoers have to be at least 18 to attend the celebration. Tickets to the event, inclusive of one drink, can be purchased at $52. A 20% discount is available to Sentosa Island cardholders, and additional discounts are given SAFRA and AREU members.

Supernova Countdown 2013
Start your year with an adrenaline pumping celebration at the family-friendly Supernova Countdown 2013, held at Universal Studios Singapore, from 5pm-1am. Most of the theme park’s rides will be operational during the event, so attendees can barrel down the rollercoaster tracks as many times as they want. Tribute musicians will also be singing songs from Lady Gaga, Adele and Michael Buble at the two party zones in New York and Hollywood.
Tickets to the event can be purchased at $68, although visitors who wish to enter the park in the day can buy a combo pass for $74. Discounts are available to RWS Invites members.
New Year’s Eve Countdown at ACM
While waiting for 2013 to arrive, why not start learning about Asia’s cultural history at the Asian Civilisations Museum? With a line-up of musical and cultural performances from local bands and DJs as well as Thai artistes, the event will be a night to remember. Celebrations will run from 5pm-1am. Entry to the museum and the event are free of charge.
