Description: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve was one of the first forest reserves in Singapore, and the 163ha reserve is one of the largest tracts of primary rainforest still remaining in Singapore, containing more plant species than those found in all of North America, according to renowned conservationist David Bellamy. It is also home to Singapore's highest hill, standing at 163.63m high. Bukit Timah Hill, once an active quarrying site in the mid-1900s, is composed mainly of granite. One such site has become the Hindhede Nature Park, a sight for visitors to enjoy its scenic beauty and try out the challenging play equipment.
