If you're thinking of experiencing the high life, nothing comes close to living it up at the fancy Prelude. Partly due to its occupancy of a heritage building - that of the Fullerton Boathouse roof, the bar eludes sophistication with its soft, easy white lighting, and the playful mix of white bar stools and wooden deck chairs amidst the potted greenery and subdued background music. Similarly, its interior brings a comfortable, low-key vibe.

The prices here are also relatively affordable in comparison to its neighbours down below. Cocktails are somewhere between $14 to $18. Their Lychee Mojito and Melo Spice Martini are one of the many interesting concoctions that the bar offers. As far as beers go, the Baird Brewing imported from Namazu, Japan or the Angry Boy brown ale and Simaguni stout can also be found here. Away from the boisterous crowd typical of Clarke Quay and Boat Quay, Prelude attracts a surprisingly unpretentious mix of local and travellers alike.
