Several talented designers have emerged from Singapore and put it on the world stage with their original works.

He launched Woods & Woods when he returned to Singapore in 2000 and the label made its runway debut during the Singapore Fashion Week in time for Spring/Summer 2001.

He went to on expand his label internationally in Melbourne and Paris in following years and was awarded the Swarovski Designer of the Year 2003 (menswear & womenswear).

Another famous designer from Singapore is Ashley Isham. His designs, simultaneously contemporary and classic, have won over many followers and a high-profile clientele including celebrities like Kylie Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga, among others.

His flagship boutique can be found at Fullerton Hotel in Singapore.

Daniel Yam is a famous label in the region, with outlets in Singapore and Hong Kong. It is managed by Advance Apparel under David Wang and Daniel Yam.

Its 2 flagship stores in Singapore are found in Marina Square and Wisma Atria Shopping Centre.

His designs can be found in four locations in Singapore, at the Raffles Hotel, Paragon by Sogo, Raffles Arcade and Raffles City.

For those looking for elegant yet quirky frocks, you'll find it in Hansel, which is named after designer Jo Soh's beloved Jack Russell terrier.
