Have you ever wondered about the skill and coordination needed to perform daredevil somersaults through the air, the way circus performers and trapeze artists do, and with such great ease?

Well, think no further. At The Flying Trapeze on Sentosa, visitors have the opportunity to participate in this hair-raising recreational sport. A group of trapeze artists will lead you through the basics, teaching you how to perform knee hangs, splits, mid-air splits, pirouettes and, yes, somersaults.

Hold your breath and experience the thrill of somersaulting 9 metres above the ground. Learning the trapeze is supposed to help develop your concentration, strength and hand-eye coordination (it's probably going to help to cure your fear of heights as well!)

It costs $10 per swing, or $20 for three swings. The Flying Trapeze is open from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, from Mondays to Fridays; from 2.30pm to 7pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
