Singapore Crocodile Farm
The Singapore Crocodile Farm was started around 60 years ago by Mr Tan Gua Chua whose passion for the reptiles made him transform one acre of land around his home into a crocodile farm.
He had also set up a factory in the farm to process crocodile skins, producing items such as leather bags and accessories. The factory is no longer in operation, though visitors can still see it in its original state.
Besides the various species of crocodiles on display, visitors can also buy souvenirs from the farm's showroom. The farm is open from 9am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 5.30pm on weekends. Admission is free and there are ample parking space.
