Singapore Fashion Festival

By: Sheralyn on 12 Mar 2013
The Singapore Fashion Festival was an annual fashion event first launched in 2001, with the aim of making Singapore a fashion capital within the Southeast Asian region. In 2009, the Singapore Fashion Festival was replaced with the Audi Fashion Festival (AFF). It was later relaunched as the Asia Fashion Exchange (AFX) annual event in 2010.

Held annually in the months of March to April, the Singapore Fashion Festival gives an insider's look into the biggest names of the fashion industry from across the world strutting their latest works. If you have always wondered what Fashion Week was like in New York, this festival might be a start for you. It also offers local designers a bigger platform to showcase their creations.

The festival has already starred several supermodels in the industry including British supermodel Lily Cole in 2006 as well as Estonian supermodel Carmen Kass and Korean supermodel Song Kyunga. International labels and luxury brands which have graced the scene include Armani Exchange, Chanel, DKNY, Diesel, JeanPaul Gaultier, Kenzo, Moschino, Paul Smith and Vera Wang

The Asia Fashion Exchange 2012 will be held from 14 - 20 May. It will offer stronger Asia-centric content with an international appeal.

In particular, the Audi Fashion Festival 2012 will take place from 16 - 20 May at [email protected], Ngee Ann City.
