Chinatown Walking Tours

Good Morning, Ni Hao

Experience the sights and sounds of a wet market and watch how locals hunt for the freshest bargains. It’s no mystery why it is called a ‘wet market’ as stall owners use water in the market to wash the floors, to keep fruits and vegetables fresh, and to keep the fish and shellfish alive. Check out local favourites like century egg, black chicken and a wide array of spices.

Then head to Chinatown Complex, Singapore’s largest food centre, for a leisurely breakfast.

Thereafter, visit a traditional and heritage shop to purchase herbs, tonics and pastries, and end your tour on a sweet note with a sampling of local desserts.
