The newly opened iFly wind tunnel is the world's largest indoor skydiving tunnel, which simulates the sky diving thrill without the actual height needed from a plane, or the danger! Perfect for a family outing, a fun experience with friends or even a memorable date, iFly's indoor skydiving will be something you will never forget.

How Does iFly Work?

Four 250 horsepower fans circulate air in the tunnel are high speeds, generating the same wind speed which skydivers feel during freefall. By learning to position your body to balance on this airflow, anyone can learn to fly your body the way skydivers do!

Two fans are located on each side of the top level of the building. Wind is generated away from the center, flowing down the sides into the basement. From there, it transitions toward the center, where the both flows are joined together and proceed upward. At this point the wind measures approximately 30mph. Before reaching the Flight Chamber, the wind will reach around 120mph! The lower end of the tunnel is surrounded by glass so that friends and family can watch the entire process.

While other tunnels take in all the air from the outside, iFly's tunnel recirculates air to reduce noise and to maintain a comfortable temperature inside. iFly, often referred to as 'an airplane, turned inside-out!”, was designed by professional wind tunnel engineers from organizations such as NASA.
